| Frequent
Asked Questions (FAQ) |
Where
can MILSIG K-Series markers be purchased?
MILSIG K-Series markers can only be purchased from authorized
dealers of MILSIG in your country. MILSIG is the manufacturer
of the K-Series series markers and they do not sell directly
to the end customer. We are currently looking for active
dealers in Canada to become dealers for MILSIG Canada,
please visit the Dealers page for more information on becoming an authorized dealer.
What is the difference between K-Series
Makers and K68 Series sold by RAP4.com?
Theyre the same markers sold under different brand
names. RAP4 has been marketing our markers under the K-Series or "T68" name.. We ARE the MANUFACTURER and we will be marketing
these markers under the MILSIG brand and K-Series
line starting 2008.
Where are MILSIG markers produced?
All MILSIG markers are proudly made in Taiwan.
Do MILSIG markers come with a warranty?
Yes, all MILSIG markers come with a limited 1 year manufacturers
warranty, visit our support page for further details.
Are there other paintball marker manufacturers
that make magazine fed markers?
Therere currently only 3 magazine fed paintball marker
manufacturers in the world. RAM makes only 0.43 cal action
markers, while ATS is the only other manufacturer that makes
0.68 cal markers. MILSIG markers are priced considerably
less while out-performing the competition.
What are some new features on K-Series
series markers?
1.) New models
2.) New raised carrying handle and front sight for better
sight acquisition
3.) New see through magazines
4.) New extended magazine release button
Can MILSIG markers be customized?
Yes, MILSIG markers are easily customized. K-Series series
markers will accept a wide range of accessories made by
MILSIG and other manufacturers.
I want a MILSIG marker, but I want
other variants other than the M4/ M16, what can I do?
While we currently do not make variants such as the AK47,
G36, or Mp5, you can easily purchase readily available front
end/ stock kits to fit on K-Series receivers. Any kit that fits
Tippmann A5 series will work on TM4s.
How far do these markers shoot?
They have a maximum range of 250 feet and an effective range
of 150 feet.
How fast do these markers shoot?
K-Series markers shoot between 280-320fps.
How accurate are these markers?
K-Series markers are some of the most accurate markers on the
market today.
Do K-Series markers require maintenance?
Our markers are extremely reliable and need very little
maintenance other than the occasional oiling of parts and
cleaning of the barrel. Almost all maintenance can be performed
by the user.
What is quick clear anti
chop system?
Once in a while, a paintball will get chopped or break inside
the receiver of the paintball marker. In most cases, the
marker would have to be taken apart immediately, and the
user has to stop shooting. K-Series markers have a revolutionary
system that allows a user to keep using the marker even
after a ball breaks. The broken paintball is defused inside
the receiver, and any paint that gets inside the barrel
gets blown out. Normal accuracy will return after 5-6 "clearing" shots.
Our markers will never leave you stranded in the heat of
battle.
What kind of air system can I use
with K-Series markers?
K-Series markers will work with either CO2 or compressed air
systems. TM4s have multiple air system mounting points to
ensure a fit for every user.
If I start off by purchasing the cheapest
K-Series series marker (CQB), can I upgrade to a higher model
later on?
Yes, the CQB can be turned into any other K-Series series marker
with the purchase of upgrade kits. Consequently, you can
change any K-Series model into other K-Series models with MILSIG
factory upgrade kits.
Can I use a hopper and a magazine
at the same time?
While its technically viable to do this, we recommend
the user use one feeding mode at a time. When both systems
are used simultaneously, the magazine is emptied out before
the hopper, thus making the magazine redundant.
How long does it take to change from
hopper feed mode, to magazine feed mode?
It takes 2-3 minutes with a flathead screwdriver, or a small
coin to change from one feeding mode to the other.
Can I mount optics, flashlights, or
laser pointers to K-Series markers?
Yes, accessories such as red dot scopes, rifle scopes, and
flashlights can easily fit on K-Series markers. Most accessories
that fit on airsoft guns, and even real firearms will fit
on K-Series markers.
Can K-Series markers be used for law enforcement?
Yes, K-Series markers can be used effectively for tactical training,
and riot control. MILSIG has models specifically made
for LE purposes. Please email us for further details.
Can K-Series markers shoot full auto?
While K-Series markers are made to shoot semi-auto only from
the factory, its possible to convert our markers to
shoot full auto or burst with after market parts. We plan
to release our own full auto version in the near future.
